Drapes 4 Show, Inc. ("Drapes 4 Show," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and the rights you have. It applies to drapes.com, drapes.mx, our online store, and any interaction you have with us — by phone, email, or in person.

We are a manufacturer and supplier of table linens and trade-show textiles, and we sell primarily to businesses, venues, and event professionals. This policy applies to everyone who interacts with us, including consumers.

1. Information We Collect

Identifiers and contact details: name, company name, job title, billing and shipping address, email address, telephone number.
Commercial information: products purchased or quoted, order history, rental and purchase records, payment method (we do not store full card numbers — see "Payment Processing" below), and purchase preferences.
Financial information: billing address, credit terms, and tax identification numbers where required for business accounts.
Internet and network activity: IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, time on page, and interactions with our site.
Inferences: preferences and interests we infer from your activity with us, used to tailor what we show you.
Communications: the content of emails, phone notes, and messages you send us, including sales-inquiry and support correspondence.
Audio: if you call us, we may record calls for quality assurance and training, with notice at the start of the call.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information such as Social Security numbers, precise geolocation, health information, biometric data, or information about children, and we ask that you do not send it to us.

2. Where the Information Comes From

Directly from you — when you place an order, request a quote, create an account, subscribe to emails, call us, or contact us through the site.
Automatically — from your browser or device when you use our site (cookies and similar technologies).
From third parties — payment processors, fraud-prevention services, shipping carriers, and business partners who refer you to us.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information to:

Process, fulfil, ship, and invoice orders, and provide quotes and samples;
Communicate with you about orders, inquiries, and service issues;
Manage your account and provide customer support;
Send marketing and product information where you have asked for it, or where permitted by law;
Improve our products, site, and customer experience;
Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
Comply with legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations; and
Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

4. Legal Bases for Processing (EEA and UK Visitors)

Where the EU or UK GDPR applies, we rely on these legal bases:

Contract — to process and fulfil your order;
Legitimate interests — to run and improve our business, prevent fraud, and communicate with business contacts, balanced against your rights;
Consent — for non-essential cookies, marketing emails, and call recording, which you may withdraw at any time;
Legal obligation — for tax, accounting, and record-keeping duties.

5. Cookies, Pixels, and Tracking Technologies

Our site uses cookies and similar technologies. These fall into four groups:

Strictly necessary — required for the site to work (cart, session, security). These cannot be switched off.
Performance and analytics — help us understand how the site is used.
Functional — remember your preferences, such as language and currency.
Advertising and marketing — used to measure and target advertising.

Where required by law, we ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies, and we honour Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals sent by your browser as a valid opt-out of the sale or sharing of personal information. 6. How We Share Personal Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent it to third-party marketers. We share it only as described here:

Service providers — payment processors, shipping carriers, IT and hosting providers, email and analytics providers, and professional advisers, who may use it only to perform services for us;
Business partners — where necessary to fulfil your order or a joint project;
Legal and safety — to comply with law, valid legal process, or to protect rights, property, and safety;
Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

Some analytics and advertising technologies may constitute "sharing" for targeted advertising under California law. You can opt out as described in Section 7.

7. Your Privacy Rights

California (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

Know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, or share, and request a copy;
Delete personal information we hold about you, subject to legal exceptions;
Correct inaccurate personal information;
Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for targeted advertising;
Limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information (we do not collect it);
Non-discrimination — we will not deny you goods or services, charge you a different price, or provide a lower quality of service because you exercised your rights.

We have not sold personal information in the preceding 12 months. To opt out of sharing for targeted advertising, use the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in our site footer, or email us at staff@drapes.com.

Other U.S. States

Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Delaware, Iowa, Indiana, Tennessee, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, and Rhode Island (and other states that enact similar laws) may have rights to access, correct, delete, obtain a portable copy, and opt out of targeted advertising, profiling, and the sale of personal data. Some states also provide a right to appeal our decision on a request — see Section 10.

EEA, UK, and Switzerland (GDPR)

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing, to data portability, to withdraw consent, and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. We process data under the legal bases in Section 4.

Canada (PIPEDA and Quebec Law 25)

You may request access to, and correction of, your personal information, and withdraw consent to its use, subject to legal and contractual restrictions.

Mexico (LFPDPPP)

Visitors to drapes.mx may exercise their ARCO rights — Access, Rectification, Cancellation, and Opposition — and may withdraw consent, by contacting us at staff@drapes.com.

8. How to Exercise Your Rights

Please tell us what you are asking for and which state or country you live in. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law — generally 45 days for California requests.

9. Verification and Authorized Agents

To protect your information, we verify your identity before acting on a request. We will match the details you provide against our records, and we may ask for additional confirmation. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with written permission; we may still require you to verify your identity directly.

10. Appeals

If we decline a request, we will explain why. Residents of states that provide an appeal right may reply to our decision within a reasonable time, and we will review it and respond in writing.

11. How Long We Keep Information

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy:

Order and transaction records — generally 7 years, for tax and accounting;
Marketing contact details — until you unsubscribe or object;
Website analytics — typically 26 months;
Call recordings — generally 12 months;
Security and fraud logs — up to 24 months.

When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it. Residual copies may remain in backups until those are overwritten.

12. How We Protect Information

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, and restricted internal access on a need-to-know basis. No system is perfectly secure, but we review our safeguards and will notify you and the relevant authorities of a breach where the law requires it.

13. Payment Processing

Card payments are processed by our payment provider. We do not store full credit card numbers on our systems. Card data you enter is transmitted directly to the processor.

14. Children's Privacy

Our site is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where required). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

15. International Data Transfers

We are based in the United States, and information may be processed in the United States or in other countries where our service providers operate. Where the law requires, we use appropriate safeguards for these transfers, such as standard contractual clauses.

16. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

We honour Global Privacy Control opt-out signals. Because there is no common industry standard for "Do Not Track" browser headers, we do not currently respond to them.

17. Third-Party Links

Our site may link to third-party sites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, and we encourage you to read their policies.

18. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above, and where changes are material, we will provide additional notice on the site. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
